“The University of Texas at Arlington will be offering two Craig H. Neilsen Scholarships starting Fall, 2014. The scholarships will be full tuition scholarships and will stay with the recipient until graduation. The Craig Neilsen Foundation was established in 2002 as a private foundation dedicated to spinal cord injury research and quality of life programs. Mr. Neilsen was a visionary with an entrepreneurial spirit who led his companies with passion. While living with a spinal cord injury himself, Mr. Neilsen worked hard and was grateful for what he had while always remembering others who had challenges similar to his own. UT-Arlington is ranked by The Chronicle of Higher Education as the seventh fastest-growing public research in 2013 and is ranked by U.S. News and World Report as the fifth highest diversity index in the nation for national research institutions.
