The NWBA Board of Directors met in June to discuss several issues, one being classification. The Board has decided that the NWBA will use a 15 point system on the court. The 15 points on the court will be reviewed at the end of the season to determine if further movement will be necessary on the point system. The Women's Division, Division III and Championship Division will all follow the 15 points. At this time there is still no classification within the junior division. This transition to 15 points and the functional system will begin this season (2014-15).

The NWBA Classification Committee has been working tirelessly to bring you the team reviewer webinars as we approach the beginning of the season. The certification course will be an eight section course that also includes small quizzes at the end of each section and a final test.  You must receive a score of 70% or higher to be certified.  You may take the course more than once.  We will post the webinar once it has been finalized by the end of next week.

Many of you have asked what the team reviewers role is, who can be a team reviewer, etc.  The team reviewer can be anyone from your team and there is no limit to how many in your program may be certified.  There is no cost to become a team reviewer. The information below will give you a few additional details on the team reviewer position.  We understand that this is a new process and may be a little confusing.  Please feel free to contact the National Office with any questions.  You can email This email address is being protected from spambots.
