The junior division executive committee has release the rankings for the top 36 junior 10' teams.  All teams ranked are encouraged to register for the National Tournament.  The top 32 teams are invited however if a team is unable to attend the tournament will be opened up to #33-#36 in order of rankings.

Check out our recaps on two awesome Wheelchair Basketball tournaments that took place last weekend:

Phoenix Wheelchair Suns 15th Annual Championship Division Basketball Roundup:
The Phoenix Banner Wheelchair Suns hosted the 15th Annual Championship Division Roundup Basketball Tournament January 25-16, 2014 in Phoenix Arizona.  Before the basketballs stopped bouncing Sunday afternoon, 24 games were played with most games being very competitive.  The scores are posted on the scoreboard on the NWBA website.

The University of Missouri will host their wheelchair basketball camp July 20-24, 2014. The camp is for males and females ages 12-19 with a permanent disability of the lower extremity. The camp focuses on individual fundamental skill development and strategies in team play. Players participate in skill developing drills, controlled scrimmages and games that emphasize the skills and concepts taught by the staff.  The University of Missouri’s coach and players will instruct the campers.  For more information contact Ron Lykins at 573.882.7865 or via e-mail  This email address is being protected from spambots. The invitations for the 2014 USA Men's and Women's Wheelchair Basketball Team tryouts have gone out to all athletes.  Tryouts for both teams will be held January 2-6, 2014.  The men will hold their tryouts at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center and the women will hold their tryouts at Lakeshore Foundation.  The athletes below have accepted invitations to the USA Men's and Women's Tryouts.  These athletes will be competing for up to 18 spots to make the 2014 team.  The final 12 athletes will be selected in the Spring to compete at the World Championships.

Tryouts for the 2014 USA Men's and Women's World Championship Teams are set for January 2-6, 2014.  The women will hold their tryouts at Lakeshore Foundation in Birmingham, AL while the men will head to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO.  The list of players and staff for the 2014 season will be released in the upcoming weeks after athletes accept/deny their invitations.
