EDINBORO, PENNSYLVANIA. – Members of Edinboro’s athletic teams did their part to help Hurricane Harvey victims in Houston on Wednesday. Rollin’ for Relief was organized by the wheelchair basketball team to help support the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas. Over $1,000 was raised at the October 11th event for the cause.

The game consisted of four, 10-minute quarters with the wheelchair basketball team taking on players from the various other Fighting Scot athletic teams, including football, wrestling, and swimming.  A 15-minute halftime was used for a three-point contest as well as a knockout competition. There was a Chinese auction, score prediction contest and a shooting challenge.

All the proceeds are going directly to Greater Houston Community Foundation, set up by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and County Judge Ed Emmett.
