The National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) is excited to offer sanctioned events in Missouri, Virginia, Michigan, Arizona, Oklahoma, and Maryland this week.

All events are open to the public. The NWBA asks that teams and spectators share their experience by posting their photos and tagging the NWBA. Use the hashtag #NWBA to be featured on our social media sites.
 
NWBA Shop (Nov. 26)
The National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) launched their first online store, NWBA Shop Monday, November 27. The NWBA Shop, www.NWBAShop.com, has various Nike items including long and short sleeve Nike Dri-FIT’s, cotton t-shirts, and a drawstring bag. Sizes range from youth to 4XL. This week only, spend $100 or more and receive free shipping.
 
University of Missouri – Intercollegiate Tournament (Dec. 1-2)
The University of Missouri hosts an Intercollegiate Division Tournament this weekend at MizzouRec, 213 Rothwell Gymnasium, Columbia, Missouri. Eight teams will compete in this tournament.

Herman Key Jr. Memorial Holiday Tournament (Dec. 1-3)
The 8th ranked Charlottesville Cardinals of Adult Division II prepare to play host for 17th Annual Herman Key Jr. Memorial Holiday Tournament at the Walton Middle School, 4217 Red Hill Rd, Charlottesville, Virginia.

Bracket play will continue until Saturday afternoon until an elimination rounds begin.  The Championship game is scheduled to for 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 3.

In addition to the Cardinals, the tournament includes the Adult Division II teams: Charlotte Rollin' Hornets of Cornelius, North Carolina (7th ranked team); the Magee Spokesmen of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (11th ranked team), and the Richmond Sportable Rim Riders of Richmond, Virginia(15th ranked team).
Adult Division III squads included are the Harrisonburg Cardinals of Orange, Virginia (13th ranked team) and the Shepherd Stealers of Atlanta, Georgia.

Team trophies, MVP, All-Tournament, and Sportsmanship awards are provided.

3rd Annual Mary aBed Invitational (Dec. 2-3)
The Mary Free Bed Pacers of Adult Division I and Mary Free Bed Rollin Drive of Adult Division III both of Grand Rapids, Michigan are proud to offer the 3rd Annual Mary Free Bed Invitational at the Mary Free Bed YMCA, 5500 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, Michigan this Saturday and Sunday.
 
Games will commence on Saturday, December 2 at 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, December 3 at 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Additional Adult Division I competing teams include: the Dallas Mavericks of Arlington, Texas; the Cleveland Wheelchair Cavaliers of Brunswick, Ohio; the RIM Detroit Diehards of Royal Oak, Michigan; the Miami Valley Raptors of Xenia, Ohio.

 
Adult Division III teams also competing are: the Turnstone Bandits of Fort Wayne, Indiana; the LWSRA Hawks of New Lenox, Illinois; the RHI Pacers of Indianapolis, Indiana; and the WASA Bucks of Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Bennett Blazers Weekend of Games (Dec. 2-3)
The Bennett Blazers will host a weekend of games this weekend at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, 3835 Greenspring Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland for Junior Prep and Junior Varsity teams.Nine teams will compete throughout the weekend. No awards are provided.

Seattle Jam (Dec. 2-3)
Seattle Adaptive Sports will host the Seattle Jam at the West Seattle HS, 3000 California Ave W, Seattle, Washington. Eight teams, including host team Seattle Sonics of Seattle, Washington will compete in Varsity Division and Adult Division I.

West Coast Conference Bid Regional Junior Wheelchair 
Basketball Tournament (Dec. 2-3)
This Saturday and Sunday, December 2-3, Ability360 Sports & Fitness Center hosts the West Coast Conference Bid Regional Junior Wheelchair Basketball Tournament. Check out some of the best junior athletes from the West Coast as they compete for a bid to the 2018 National Wheelchair Basketball Tournament presented by ABC Medical on April 12-15 in Louisville, KY.
The Ability360 Sports & Fitness Center is located at 5031 E. Washington Street Phoenix, Arizona. Saturday’s games are 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday.

 
The Varsity Teams included in this tournament are: the BORP Jr. Road Warriors of San Lorenzo, California; the Utah Rush of Henefer, Utah; the Lakeshore Lakers of Birmingham, Alabama; the Denver Jr. Rolling Nuggets of Longmont, Colorado; San Diego Hammers of San Diego, California; the Rancho Renegades of Downey, California; the Dallas Jr. Mavericks -  of Arlington, Texas.
 
Prep Division teams include the Phoenix Prep Wheelchair Suns of Mesa, Arizona and the Denver Prep Rollin’ Nuggets of Longmont, Colorado.

Midwest Conference Tournament Hosted by Oklahoma Rollin' Trojans (Dec. 2-3)
The Oklahoma Rollin' Trojans of Collinsville, Oklahoma will host five teams to compete in an Adult Division II tournament this weekend. The Northeast Oklahoma Adaptive Sports is the event host for the Midwest Conference Tournament at Chandler Park 6500 W 21st St. Tulsa, Oklahoma.Competing teams include the Oklahoma Rollin Trojans of Collinsville, Oklahoma; the Madonna Magic of Lincoln, Nebraska; and the Kansas Wheelhawks of Lawrence, Kansas.
