Nominees:

Tim Fox

In 1999, Tim Fox began working in a Non-Profit Organization with youth and adults with varying degrees of intellectual or physical diagnosis. With a background in coaching basketball collegiately, Fox was offered the opportunity in 2007 to coach the Adult Division Cleveland Wheelchair Cavaliers.  Since 2007, he has been involved with the National Wheelchair Basketball Association as a coach. In a very short time, Fox learned the value of the
Association, its mission, and its members leading him to become more involved outside of the Northeast Ohio area.

Fox was elected by the Division III Delegates in 2008 to the Division III Committee, and was elected Chair of that Committee in 2010.  During that time, Fox and Will Waller worked closely with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Achievement Centers for Children and Invacare to create the Junior Wheelchair Cavaliers for the youth in Northeast Ohio. That team was then the first Junior Wheelchair Basketball program in the state of Ohio.

In 2016, the Board of Directors selected Fox to fill the position vacated by longtime board member and friend of the Association Pat McCoy.  Fox immediately wanted to make a difference with the membership and took on the role of NWBT Tournament Operations Director in Louisville in 2017 & 2018.  At the Annual Meeting in 2017, he was officially elected by the Delegates to a four-year term and elected by the Board Members to serve in the Office of Secretary.  In the summer of 2018, Fox took on the responsibility to chair an Audit Committee to navigate the challenging circumstances the Association faced. He was part of the LOC that successfully hosted the Adult Division I and II 2019 Toyota National Championships that were hosted at no cost to the NWBA, while providing a great Championship experience for all participants.

Curtis Lease - WITHDREW BALLOT

Curtis “Gus” Lease, originally from Jacksonville, Illinois, graduated in 1994 from the University of Illinois-Champaign. While there, Lease was a four-time All-American in wheelchair basketball, and awarded the Sportsmanship and MVP Award for the Intercollegiate Division. Lease was also a three-time MVP for the University of Illinois

Lease is a two-time Paralympian on the U.S. National Sitting Volleyball Team and a two-time Parapan American medalist. Lease plays wheelchair basketball as a member of the Chicago Hornets in the NWBA Adult Division I, coaches the Synergy Junior Bulls youth wheelchair basketball team, plays wheelchair softball with the Wheelchair Cubs, and is a current member of the NWBA Board of Directors.

Vincen Liddle

Following his spinal cord injury in 2007, Vincen Liddle grabbed a basketball chair and took to the court. He has a drive and passion to provide others with access to and knowledge of adapted sports. Liddle is always looking to educate others and grow the sport of wheelchair basketball through partnerships and connections across the state of Iowa.

For the past 5 years, Vincen has worked with SportAbility of Iowa, serving as President of the organization since 2017. Liddle took the position to grow and provide more Adaptive Sports opportunities for the youth in Iowa. Liddle also has experience managing the concerns of the general public while working as a Disputes Agent & Compliance and Risk Analyst for PayPal. Serving as not only a player but also a coach and Advocate of Wheelchair Basketball anywhere he goes, his personal motto is, "Inclusion sees no difference in ability, just kids having fun, with smiles on their faces, sitting or standing!"
