COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO – The Junior Division Executive Committee has announced the 2019-20 November’s Rankings for Junior Varsity and Junior Prep. These are the first set of power rankings released for the Junior Division for the 2019-20 season.

The top 16 ranked teams for Varsity will earn an invite to play in the National Junior Wheelchair Basketball Tournament (NJWBT). Teams ranked 17-32 will receive an invite to participate in the National Junior Invitational Tournament. If a team does not accept their bid for postseason play, invitations will be sent to the next team, in order of ranking, until both tournaments are filled.

Quick Overview

WASA is defending champions and return their entire team. They are led by Thomas Oberst, last year’s tournament MVP, and Moira Paulus who has committed to Alabama.

Houston sent two starters to the University of Texas, Arlington, but have remained strong behind the continued emergence of Peter Berry (Alabama commit) and Rodrigo Linares (class 1.0 standout).

Atlanta has reloaded with a strong fast team including Team USA rising star Bailey Moody.

In the Prep Division, the Bennett Blazers top the rankings led by National Tournament MVP J.P. Pollard and Logan Soleas.
