Members of Wheelchair Athletes Worldwide traveled to Indonesia to put on a clinic and donate equipment.

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO - Peter Hughes (Director of Adaptive Athletics University of Arizona), Mia Hansen (Director of Southern Arizona Adaptive Sports), and Dan Altan (former NWBA member) traveled to Jakarta/Bandung, Indonesia in September to conduct a three day wheelchair basketball clinic and donate twelve sport wheelchairs.

Project Indonesia had Wheelchair Athletes Worldwide (WAW) members work hand in hand with Team Indonesia member and former NWBA member, Donald Sontosa, who played for the Ability 360 Suns and for ASU the year they had a college program.

NWBA Members Peter Hughes, Dan Altan, Chuck Gill & Greg Hockensmith formed WAW back in 2009 to give back to the sport that has given so much to them. WAW's mission is to give needed equipment and knowledge to developing countries and places where programs are just starting. All funds are raised in the USA by WAW and chairs are donated by athletes and re-furbished by WAW.
