COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -The National Wheelchair Basketball Association is excited to announce the second installment of the NWBA Webinar Series presented by ABC Medical, an informational series focused on helping NWBA members build knowledge, skills and abilities on focused topics. Creating resources for NWBA members is critical to helping sustain and grow the sport. Webinar topics were selected based on feedback from membership and will be presented by NWBA members who are skilled in those particular areas.
The next webinar, Growing your Adaptive Sports Program by partnering with Community Donors & Fundraising Campaigns, will take place on Wednesday, September 2nd at 6:30 p.m. Mountain time. This session will be presented by Mike Godsey and Megan Welty. The focus of this segment will focus on cultivating donor relations and executing fundraising campaigns to help fund a wheelchair basketball program/team. Topics will include donor relationships, step-by-step process of “making the ask” to donors, and execution of a virtual fundraising campaign. This segment will hopefully help teams/programs educate themselves on how to create funding opportunities through donors in their communities. Mike and Megan bring years of experiences and knowledge in this area. (See Bio Below)

The NWBA Webinar Series will be conducted virtually via GoToMeeting. All interested NWBA members are encouraged to participate in this webinar segment by using the information below:
