COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO – The National Wheelchair Basketball Association is honored to announce the NWBA Toyota Team of the Month for May. The winning team is the Charlotte Rollin Hornets - Women! 

Despite the pandemic and having athletes residing in six different states, the Charlotte Rollin' Hornets - Women were honored to be invited to compete at the Pioneer Classic. They went undefeated in three of the Pioneer Classic games (all played on April 30th). The growth of the Women's division is important to the team and they want it to be important to programs across the country.

NWBA Toyota Team of the Month winners and nominees will receive a “Team of the Month” winner or nominee certificate. The NWBA thanks all athletes, coaches, and supporters for participating in May’s Toyota Team of the Month award. 

June's Toyota Team of the Month nominations are due at 12:00 pm MST on Monday, July 5. To nominate a team, click here.
