Volunteer Registration Open for 2022 NWBA Toyota Adult & Junior Wheelchair Basketball National Championships presented by ABC Medical

Volunteer Support Needed From March 31-April 3

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO – The volunteer registration process has been launched for the 2022 NWBA Toyota Adult & Junior Wheelchair Basketball National Championships presented by ABC Medical to be held March 31-April 3 in Wichita, Kansas. Volunteers will be completing registration to support the Adult Division (DI, DII, DIII) and Junior Division (Prep and Varsity/Varsity Invitational) national tournament events. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in becoming involved with the largest wheelchair basketball tournament in the world. Also for any NWBA members present at the event to give back some of their time to support the needs of executing such a grand event.

The local organizing committee and NWBA is recruiting for the following positions to volunteer for throughout the event: Shot Clock; Timekeeper; Scorekeeper; Hospitality; Admissions; Volunteer Check-In/Team Entrance.

(Previous experience is preferred if you want to act as a volunteer table official serving in the roles of Timekeeper, Scorekeeper or Shot Clock Operator. The only other restrictions for volunteer table officials is that you must be 18 years of age or older. No other restrictions exist for any other positions.)

There is separate sign-ups for the two venues being used for the 2022 NWBA Toyota Adult and Junior Wheelchair Basketball National Championships:

•All Division II Games

•All Prep Games

•All Varsity Games

•*All Varsity Invitational Games on Sunday, April 3

•Division III National Championship Game on Saturday, April 2

Wichita Sports Forum

•All Division III Games

•*Except National Championship Game

•*All other Varsity Invitational Games on Friday & Saturday

The volunteer positions and their time slots are being offered on a first come, first serve basis. Please make sure to sign up as soon as possible if there are specific positions and time slots that you want.
