Registering as a NWBA Team and Member

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - The National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) is excited to share this friendly "Save the Date" for the upcoming fifteenth installment of the NWBA Webinar Series presented by ABC Medical, an informational series focused on helping NWBA members build knowledge, skills, and abilities on focused topics. Creating resources for NWBA members is critical to helping sustain and grow the sport. Webinar topics are selected based on membership feedback and are presented by NWBA members skilled in those particular areas.

The next webinar, "Registering as a NWBA Team and Member", will take place on Wednesday, July 27th at 6:30 p.m. Mountain time and will be presented by Brandon McBeain and Karrie Macudzinski.  This session is imperative for those that serve in the role of  Team Representatives and/or any individual interested in learning more about the process of registering a team/member with the NWBA. Please save the date and join us. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Brandon McBeain,  joined the National Wheelchair Basketball Association staff as the Director, of Membership Services and Programs, in 2016. McBeain has spent time working for minor league sports teams,  various sporting events, and sports marketing firms. McBeain found his passion for Paralympic sport by working for the Organizing Committee at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic & Paralympic Games. From 2011-2013 McBeain worked for Courage Center administering all aspects of programming for seven wheelchair basketball teams; three wheelchair softball teams; and supervised numerous adaptive sports program camps, events, and tournaments.McBeain served as the Treasurer and Secretary of the NWBA Junior Division for four years starting in 2012.

Kerrie Macudzinski, CTRS- Has been involved with the NWBA since 2016 while assisting with the Detroit Wheelchair Pistons (formerly the Detroit Diehards). Kerrie took over the role as team manager in 2017. Kerrie is a Recreational Therapist at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan and also the Director of the RIM Foundation Adaptive Sports program. Kerrie has been an active member in disabled sports since her college days while attending Central Michigan University (graduated with a Bachelor in Recreational Therapy in 1999).
