COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. - The National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) is excited to announce the call for the 22nd Annual Bill and Julie Duncan Good Guy Award. 

When we think about NWBA teams, we typically think of the players, but every team has volunteers who do the things that make the players and teams successful. Those are the ‘Good Guys’ (and Gals) who coach, raise money, repair chairs, keep score, drive the van, run the website and all those other essential tasks. Sometimes one person does it all!  

To honor those essential NWBA members, the Bill and Julie Duncan Good Guy Award recognizes an NWBA volunteer who exemplifies a commitment to wheelchair basketball at the grassroots level through contributions to a local team, conference or the national organization.  

This year’s award will be presented at the National Tournament in March! It will include recognition for the Good Guy and a $500 check to the team of their choice. 

Nominate the Good Guy on your team for this important award!
