The 2025 NWBA Junior and Adult Wheelchair Basketball National Championships will follow a "Stay to Play" model for lodging. Please see below for more information on this model, which is commonly used for sporting events: 

The “Stay to Play” model helps ensure that the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) receives hotel rebates for room nights associated with the event. This model allows the LOC to offset hosting costs through these rebates, helping them come as close to break-even as possible. 

For logistical purposes, Sportable/NWBA will contact all teams invited to Nationals to request their hotel information. Each team will complete a form providing the team's name, team members, hotel name, and confirmation number(s). 

The "Stay to Play" model is essential for supporting the LOC and ensuring an efficient, well-organized event for all participants and attendees. 

A $300 fine will be assessed to any team that does not comply with the Stay to Play model. This fine will be collected by Sportable.
