COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. — The National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) is proud to announce a new partnership with New Start Mobile, LLC, a leader in technology solutions for coaching, learning, communications, and administration. New Start Mobile partners with more than 20 national sport governing bodies, several Major League Baseball clubs, and three Olympic Committees—delivering innovative digital tools that elevate education and performance across all levels of sport.
This partnership launches alongside the NWBA Official Course and Team Reviewer Certification Course through Mobile Coach, New Start Mobile’s premier educational platform. These courses are designed to help coaches create positive, challenging, and inclusive experiences for athletes of all ages and abilities—raising the standard of coaching education within the wheelchair basketball community.
The Team Reviewer Certification Course is open to any member of a current NWBA-registered team, with no limit on the number of individuals who may become certified. All team coaches and representatives are strongly encouraged to complete the course to ensure consistent standards across all divisions.
The NWBA educational platform is available at coachinged.nwba.org. In addition to the team reviewer and officials courses, the platform features resources for everyone, including USA Basketball educational materials, USOPC coaching content, and NWBA-generated wheelchair-specific content.
