COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) is excited to announce that team registration is now open for the 2026 NWBA National Championship Series.
Teams interested in competing in the national tournaments for the Adult Division (DI, DII, or DIII), Junior Division (Prep or Varsity), Military Division, or Women's Division must complete an entry during this registration session.
This registration session will be open to all teams until Tuesday, February 17, at 11:45 PM (MST).
Junior Division

Women's and Military Divisions
April 9-12; Colorado Springs, CO; U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO (CSOPTC)

Teams submitting a postseason application are not guaranteed an invitation to the 2026 NWBA National Championship Series. Qualifications for postseason play were previously announced and can be found under the "Post Season & Registration Deadlines" section at https://www.nwba.org/nationals.
As approved by the NWBA Board of Directors, the team fees to participate in the Adult, Junior, Women's and Military Division National Tournaments has adjusted to $800 per team. Invitations will be accompanied with an invoice or payment method for applicable tournament registration fees. Payment for invoices must be received by dates listed in invitation letters. Invoices will be received via email with invitation letter. Further information will be provided when available.

Amazon will once again assist the National Wheelchair Basketball Association with the transportation of team equipment to and from championship venues for the 2026 National Championships. This continued partnership helps reduce logistical barriers for teams and supports a smoother travel experience for athletes, coaches, and staff.
For the 2026 Adult and Junior Division National Championships in Monroe, Louisiana, Amazon transportation support will be available across all events, with targeted assistance for teams traveling through Shreveport Regional Airport (SHV) and Jackson–Evers International Airport (JAN). Teams are strongly encouraged to consider flying into Shreveport or Jackson when making travel arrangements to take advantage of this support.
For the 2026 Women’s and Military Division National Championships in Colorado Springs, Colorado, teams are encouraged to fly directly into Colorado Springs Airport (COS) whenever possible. Amazon may be able to accommodate transportation support for teams flying into Denver International Airport (DEN); however, this support will be contingent upon the volume of teams utilizing DEN. Additional details and coordination information will be provided as team registration progresses.
