LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) is proud to partner with the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks and PlayLA to host a Wheelchair Basketball Skills Camp on Saturday, February 14, and Sunday, February 15, at the Westwood Recreation Center in Los Angeles.
The two-day camp will provide youth and adult athletes with the opportunity to learn and develop wheelchair basketball skills in an inclusive, welcoming environment. Designed for both new and experienced participants, the camp will focus on fundamental skill development, mobility, game concepts, and overall athlete confidence, while introducing participants to the sport of wheelchair basketball.
The camp will take place at the Westwood Recreation Center, located at 1350 Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90025, with programming divided by age group to ensure an optimal experience for all participants.
Saturday, February 14
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, February 15
10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Ages & Gym Assignments:
Youth ages 5–17 (North Gym)
Adults ages 18+ (South Gym)
