Team History: New England Clippers

Sports Biography:

Original member of the PVA New England Clippers. Played in the “1st Inter-Ward Game” at the Cardinal Cushing V.A. Hospital in Boston MA in 1945. This was one of the earliest recorded Wheelchair Basketball games played between players who were patients at Cushing, at the end of World War II. Greg played in the original “PVA Basketball League” which had member teams from various V.A. hospitals around the country. He competed in 3 NWBT’s (1951, 1952, 1953) and was named to the NWBT All-Tournament Team in 1953.
