Sports Biography:

Head Coach of University of Illinois Gizz Kids 1963-1974. Coached Gizz Kids to 2 NWBA Championships (1969-1970). Organized the University of Kentucky Wheelchair Basketball Team in 1975. Also served as Head Coach of University of Illinois Track & Field team that competed in various Paralympic Games (1964, 1968, 1972, 1976) & Stoke Mandeville Competitions (1965-1978). Has served on several International Wheelchair Basketball Technical Committees (IWBF). Second Commissioner of the NWBA (1974-1995). Has written numerous articles & journals on Wheelchair Basketball & Therapeutic Recreation for the disabled.
