Influential force on the development of Wheelchair Basketball in the U.S. Player on the 1949 PVA Championship Team, Bronx Rollers (Bronx NY). First President of the NWBA’s first conference, Eastern Wheelchair Basketball Association in 1952. Served as President of NWBA Executive Committee. First President of Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). Wrote for Paraplegic News, the official magazine of PVA. Covered all early PVA tourneys. His article on the history of Wheelchair Basketball has been featured in every NWBT journal since the mid-sixties.
