Colorado Springs, Colorado – The National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) announced Monday that Per4Max Wheelchairs has returned as an official sponsor of the NWBA, including its popular Per4Max Shootout at the National Wheelchair Basketball Tournament presented by ABC Medical.

The 2017 Per4Max Shootout presented by Spinergy Wheels is set to start on Friday, March 31 at the NWBT at 5:30 p.m. Eastern, and the final shootout starting on Saturday, April 1 at 4 p.m. at the Kentucky Exposition Center South Wing C. The event is open to one shooter from each of the NWBT Junior Varsity, Junior NIT and Junior Prep Teams in hopes of winning a Per4Max sport chair with Spinergy Wheels.

This event is a shooter’s challenge with athletes earning points for baskets made from various locations on the hardwoods. Each location on the floor also provides the shooter with a money ball worth double points. There will be a variety of awards presented throughout the two day Per4Max Shootout.

In addition, Per4Max will also conduct its annual Per4Max Wheelchair Raffle with all proceeds benefitting the NWBA. Raffle tickets are available starting Wednesday at the NWBT Registration and will be sold throughout the four-day NWBT. The chair will be awarded on Sunday, April 2 after the Junior Varsity National Championship Game.

Per4Max strives to provide a custom lightweight individually tailored wheelchair that is made in the USA. Per4Max is focused on making wheelchairs for individuals with a disability and active lifestyle. Many athletes from the Paralympic Games gold-medal winning U.S. Men’s and Women’s Teams are outfitted with a Per4Max sport chair.

As in prior years, Per4Max will be set up for the NWBT with it popular booth for athletes and coaches to get custom fitted for a new chair. Also, if there is a problem with any chairs during the tournament, the Per4Max technicians will be on hand to get you back on the court for any problem encountered.
