Weekend Recap NWBA (Nov. 17-19)

This past weekend, the NWBA hosted several sanctioned events in Oregon, Virginia, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

KC Crossroads Invitational (Nov. 18-19)

The Midwest Adaptive Sports hosted the KC Crossroads Invitational at the Pioneer Ridge Middle School in Independence, Missouri.

Saturday, November 18 the stadium was filled with lots of anxious fans on the end of their seats with nail-biting games. The Kansas Wheelhawks of Lawrence, Kansas played a close game and barely scraped a win against the Austin Rec'ers of Austin Texas, 62-57. Following them was the match between the Oklahoma Rollin’ Trojans of Collinsville, Oklahoma and Madonna Magic of Lincoln, Nebraska. The Oklahoma Rollin’ Trojans were also fortunate for a win, sliding by eight points, 69-61.

The closest game of the day was between the Austin Rec’ers and Madonna Magic. With only a two-point lead, the Austin Rec’ers claimed the win 69-67.

Sunday’s games were also exciting with the Missouri Predators of Kansas City winning five back-to-back games to claim the Champion title. The Missouri Predators defeated Madonna Magic, 76-73, the Austin Rec’ers, 67-43, the Kansas Wheelhawks, 49-35, the Oklahoma Rollin’ Trojans, 68-58 and 79-52 in the championship game. Carter Arey of the Missouri Predators was the MVP of the tournament.

Bridge City Classic (Nov.17-19)

The Adaptive Sports NW Venue hosted the Bridge City Classic at the Hoop (YMCA) located at 9685 SW Harvest Ct., Beaverton, Oregon.

Teams that competed were in the Junior (Prep), Junior (Varsity) and Adult Division III divisions.

Virginia Sun Wheelers Mayors Tournament (Nov.17-19)

The Virginia Sun Wheeler Inc. hosted the Virginia Sun Wheelers Mayors Tournament at the Great Neck Community Center, 2521 Shorehaven Drive, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Magee Spokesmen at WC Brooklyn Nets (Nov. 18)

The Magee Spokesmen of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania faced the Brooklyn Nets of Brooklyn, New York Saturday, November 18.

The Harrisonburg Cardinals of Orange, Virginia played the Fayetteville Flyers of Sanford, North Carolina Saturday, November 18.

The Harrisonburg Cardinals of Orange, Virginia played the Magee Spokesmen of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Sunday, November 19.
