COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO – The National Wheelchair Basketball Association is honored to announce the NWBA’s Nike Players of the Month for February. February’s winners and results are listed on the NWBA website at http://www.nwba.org/pastwinners.

Winners of the NWBA Player of the Month program will receive a Nike Dri-FIT NWBA branded t-shirt.

The NWBA recognized the following athletes per division:

         Junior Division: One Varsity

         Intercollegiate Division: One player (either men’s or women’s athlete)

         Women’s Division: One player

         Adult Division: One player for each Division I, Division II and Division III

Women’s Division

Adult Division I

Joseph Chambers of Davis, CA and the Sacramento Rollin' Kings

• Scored 61 points in a Triple OT victory against #1 ranked Dallas Wheelchair Mavericks
• Averaged 41.2 points per game in the Brad Rich Invitational
• Second year in a row to score more than 60 points in a game at the Brad Rich Invitational

Adult Division II

Adult Division III

Intercollegiate Division

Ranley Clayton of Alexander City, AL and Auburn University - Men

• Scored a season high 14 points in three consecutive games
• Led the team in scoring during 5 games played at Illinois – 59 points
• As a female class 1.0 playing on the Auburn University men’s team she is a leader on the team.

Junior Varsity's

Austin Smith of the Charlotte Rollin' Hornets - Varsity

• Academic All-American for the past four years
• Team Captain of the Charlotte Rollin' Hornets - Varsity

Junior Prep:

AJ Miller of Cedar Rapids, IA and the SportAbility Rolling Panthers

• Averaging 12 points per game so far this season
• Helped his team earn a record of 3-1 during the Big Cheese Classic and a second place finish
