NWBA Announces Unprecedented Live-Stream Coverage Presented by T-Mobile of the 2018 NWBT

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO– The NWBA is excited to announce that it will live-stream games and interviews throughout the 70th National Wheelchair Basketball Tournament presented by ABC Medical. The live-steam of the NWBT games is made possible by T-Mobile, an official NWBA Sponsor. The NWBA will live-stream 21 tournament games occurring on court three on the NWBA website, NWBA.org.

The first game on court three, between the #4 seed University of Arizona Wildcats and #13 seed Milwaukee Wheelchair Bucks will tip off on Thursday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m. EST. The final game, which will be the Junior Varsity Division Championships, is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 15. The highlight of the live streams will be the three Adult Division Championships on Saturday and the two Junior Division Championships, along with the NIT Championship on Sunday.

Commentators for the games will feature various prominent personalities in wheelchair basketball, such as Curtis Lease (NWBA Treasurer and 2018 College Hall of Fame Inductee); Bruce Fischbach (NWBA Vice President); Dave Reiter (Intercollegiate Division Officials Liaison); Christopher Rathje (Junior Division President); David Elbert (Junior Division Secretary); Darryl Waller (NWBA Hall of Fame Member) and Emily Hoskins (Junior Division Member). The halftimes of games will also feature interviews from various individuals within the NWBA.

The NWBT will be streamed in 1080p and can be found on the NWBA’s webpage for the 70th NWBT. The games will be archived on the NWBA website after they are complete and can be easily accessed. This will allow fans to watch games that they missed or replay exciting moments from the 70th NWBT.
