2018-19 Early Athlete Registration Info

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO - The NWBA continues NWBA Membership Week with the a breakdown of how individuals members can register as athletes for the 2018-19 NWBA season.

Early Individual Registration will open for athletes at 4 p.m. Mountain time on Wednesday, August 1. The Early Individual Registration will be open until 11:59 p.m. Mountain time on September 12. The registration fee for athletes during Early Individual Registration will be $25 for Junior Division and $30 for all other divisions.

Open Individual Registration will open on Thursday, September 13. The registration fee during Open Individual Registration will be $35 for Junior Division and $40 for all other divisions.

Remember, all members must first register as an individual before becoming registered athletes. If you are not an NWBA member, you will be automatically prompted to complete a membership when attempting to complete registrations on the NWBA website.

The athlete registration continues to be very simple and quick process. The following is necessary information you will need to have to complete an entry for athlete registration:

  • Contact Information

  • Date of Birth

  • T-Shirt Size

  • Disability Information

  • Jersey Number

  • Debit/Credit Card for Dues Payment

  • Junior Division Athletes:

 

Payment options are available for teams and organizations to cover individual registration dues of team athletes and non-athletes.

Only one entry for Athlete Registration is required for athletes rostered on multiple teams. Athletes that also serve in Non-Athlete roles should complete Athlete Registration prior to Non-Athlete Registration.

For any athletes transferring from one team to another, be sure to fill out the Application for Player Transfer Request prior to registration.

The NWBA Membership Week is set for  July 16 - 20 to communicate with the members all the important information and updates for the upcoming season. The NWBA will be communicating across multiple communication channels (NWBA.org; NWBA social networks; NWBA email) to best inform our members and those interested in wheelchair basketball the processes necessary to become a member of the NWBA in preparation of the 2018-19 season.
