NWBA partners with USABA to host 2020 Vision Golf Classic

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO - The National Wheelchair Basketball Association is proud to announce a partnership with the United States Association of Blind Athletes to host the inaugural 2020 Vision Golf Classic. This is a fundraising golf tournament that will take place on September 11, 2018, and the first of its kind to raise money for both organizations.

 

Organized by the USABA with input from the NWBA, the golf tournament is part of the fundraising efforts for these organizations to help promote and support programs and initiatives for athletes with a disability. This golf tournament will provide the community an opportunity to support both organizations who work to empower the lives of Americans with physical and visual disabilities.

 

The 2020 Vision Golf Classic will be held at the Country Club of Colorado, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Each player will receive a long sleeve pullover, cinch pack and water bottle courtesy of Nike, a sleeve of Titleist Pro V1s, and complimentary beverages. There are multiple hole contests, mulligans for purchase and highlighted by a “Hole in One Contest” sponsored by Red Noland Cadillac. Tournament entry fees are $250 per person and $1,000 per team. Player sign-in will start at 11:00 a.m. Mountain time on Tuesday, September 11, with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Tournament play will be followed by a meal, awards presentation, silent auction and raffle.
