Officials Test

Officials Test

The link to the Officials Test will be provided via email to those with a completed entry on file for the Non-Athlete Registration. To pass the test you must score 70% or higher on the first attempt.

The Officials Registration is included in the Non-Athlete Registration process. Please visit www.nwba.org/officialsregistration for more information or click here to complete an entry for the Non-Athlete Registration.

The Officials Test consists of 25 True/False questions.  It is an "open book" test.  It is highly recommended you review the NWBA Rules Book, NWBA Case Book and NCAA Case Book.  You are required to answer correctly 70%, or 18 of the 25, questions to successfully pass the test.

You will have only ONE opportunity to take the test. However you will be able to complete part of the test, save it, and return to finish the exam at a later time. After you have completed the exam you will receive an email notification of your score and a certificate if you passed.

Officials may register and take the test at any time, however, to be eligible for selection for any national tournament, officials must be registered and have completed the test by December 1.

Officials Shirts

All officials must also purchase an NWBA sublimated officials shirt by January 1, 2020. This will be the only shirt the NWBA will recognize. You can purchase the shirt at https://purchaseofficials.com/products/nwba-logo-sublimated-referee-shirt.

If you have any questions please contact the NWBA Director of Officials at officials@nwba.org.
