NWBA Level I Coach Training & Certification

Established in 2002, the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation is the largest private foundation dedicated to improving the quality of life for those living with spinal cord injury (SCI), by supporting innovative program services, specialty training and research on effective therapies, interventions and treatments, leading to a cure. Today, the Foundation funds SCI scientific research (basic, translational, clinical and psychosocial research); quality of life programs; postdoctoral and SCI medicine fellowships; and other projects to support the SCI community throughout the United States and Canada.


NWBA Level I Coach Training Presentations

Please review the following training presentations associated with the game of wheelchair basketball. Following the training presentations all coaches must complete the open book test below.

NWBA Level I Coaches Certification Test

Head Coaches are required to complete the NWBA Level I Coach Certification; Assistant Coaches are encouraged to complete.

Please complete the multiple choice test regarding the various topics presented in the presentations posted above associated with the game of wheelchair basketball. This is an open book test; please reference the presentations above. 

A score of 70% or greater is required to pass. Two attempts allowed to successfully complete this test. A certificate will be provided upon successful completion of this test. Certificates are valid for two years from date of completion.
