Will Waller - CEO

Waller, 45, has 20 years of business experience having worked in 3 Fortune 150 organizations as a Human Resource Executive. During his career, he has been tasked to lead large scale change initiatives, while supporting senior leaders in their efforts to improve organizational culture and performance. Additionally, he has been a member of the NWBA for 25 years with proven success on the court and in the community. Waller has served on the Board of Directors of the NWBA since 2016 and has been actively engaged in leading the NWBA during the vacancy of the Executive Director since October of 2018. Waller lives in Hudson, Ohio with his wife and 3 children.

Brandon McBeain - Director of Membership Services and Programs

Brandon McBeain joined the National Office staff as the Director, Membership Services and Programs, in 2016. McBeain has spent time working for minor league sports teams,  various sporing events, and sports marketing firms. McBeain, originally from Minnesota, found his passion for Paralympic sport working for the Organizing Committee at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic & Paralympic Games. McBeain served as the Treasurer and Secretary of the NWBA Junior Division for four years starting in 2012. From 2011-2013 McBeain work for Courage Center administering all aspects of programming for seven wheelchair basketball teams; three wheelchair softball teams; and supervised numerous adaptive sports program camps, events, and tournaments. McBeain has a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications: Public Relations and Masters of Education in Sport Management.

Rebekah Markovitz - Communications Intern

Rebekah is from Columbia, Maryland and graduated from Ohio University with a bachelors degree in Journalism News and Information and a minor in Sports Administration and Management. She played competitive soccer for 12 years and ran track for six years before pursuing track on the collegiate D1 level. In college, she worked for WOUB Public Media as a sports reporter covering Southeast Ohio football and basketball where she enjoyed reporting live for weekly broadcasts. She is very excited to continue to be involved in sports with the NWBA. 

Annie Jirele - Membership and Marketing Intern

Annie is a senior at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs majoring in Exercise Science and minoring in Nutrition. She's participated in intramural sports and volunteers with the Recreation and Wellness Center on campus. She is looking forward to continuing her career in sports and recreation with the National Wheelchair Basketball Association.
