COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. – The National Wheelchair Basketball Association and Junior Division Executive Committee are proud to announce the Timothy J. Nugent High School Academic All-America Teams and Academic Achieves for the 2022-23 season.

The Timothy J. Nugent High School Academic All-America Teams recognizes student-athletes 10th through 12th grade, while the Academic Achievers award honors and promotes academic excellence for student athletes who are currently enrolled in grades 5-9. The awards are named after Timothy J. Nugent, who founded the NWBA over 70 seasons ago. Dr. Nugent valued education and being prepared for real world success and independence. We hope the spirit of these awards honor his mission.

Brandon Louise of the Golden State Jr. Road Warriors was selected “Captain,” receiving an academic scholarship in addition to landing a spot on the Timothy J. Nugent High School Academic All-America First Team.
