Special Events at 2024 NWBA Junior Wheelchair Basketball National Championships
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO – The Junior Division Executive Committee of the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) are excited to announce it will be hosting a series of special events at the 2024 NWBA Junior National Wheelchair Basketball Championships on April 5-7 in Richmond, Virginia. The events will provide the athletes with a unique playing experience and feature many of the talented athletes from the Junior Division.
All five events are scheduled for Friday, April 5, or Saturday, April 6, at the Henrico Sports & Events Center and are FREE to participate in!

PREP EXHIBITION GAME
On Friday, April 5 at 12:30 PM on Court 8 will be the Prep Exhibition Game, showcasing amazing athletes of Prep level of play in the Junior Division. The event will provide players a fun-environment for gaining an on-court opportunity to experience more competition. No signup necessary, just show up!
NWBA VARSITY THREE-POINT CONTEST, Presented by ABC Medical
Calling all sharpshooters! At 2:00 PM, on Friday, April 5, the NWBA will hold a Varsity Three-Point Contest on Courts 9 and 10 (finals on Court 9), featuring one participant per Varsity team (including Varsity teams competing in the Varsity Invitational Tournament). Signups to occur on-court at time of competition.
The event is presented by ABC Medical.
Top End Skillz Clinic
On Court 5 on Friday, April 5 at 2:00 PM, Top End Sports, in collaboration with the National Wheelchair Basketball Association, is thrilled to announce the 2024 Skillz Clinic, presented by the esteemed hall of famer and Team USA Paralympian, Paul Schulte.
What to Expect: Experience an exhilarating hour and a half honing your skills on the court alongside Paul Schulte and his team of elite athletes. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, this clinic promises to offer valuable insights and techniques to elevate your game. From fundamentals to team strategies, Paul and his team will guide you through every step of the way.
Showcase Your Skills: Put your newfound knowledge to the test in a controlled scrimmage, where you can demonstrate your improved techniques and tactics. It's an opportunity to showcase your talent and passion for wheelchair basketball while receiving invaluable feedback from the pros.

The Junior Boys Senior Showcase Game, presented by RGK, is scheduled on Court 10 at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, will feature and celebrate our male senior players competing in their last year of play in the Junior Division.
No signup necessary, just show up!
JUNIOR GIRLS Showcase GAME, Presented by RGK
The Junior Girls Showcase Game, presented by RGK, is scheduled for Saturday, April 6 at 12:00 PM on Court 9.
All female players that are interested in a 10' game (hoop height) can compete in the Junior Girls Game.
