Team USA Men’s Wheelchair Basketball to Host Team Australia at “Coastal Continental Clash”

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. - The National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) and the High-Performance Committee are excited to announce, the “Coastal Continental Clash,” presented by the United States Performance Center and Mt. Olive, which will take place on the campus of Queens University in Charlotte, NC, from June 5-9. The games will be held in the Curry Arena at the Levine Center (12201 Wellesley Ave, Charlotte, NC 28274). The event will feature the USA Men’s National Team playing in four exhibition games against the Australia Men’s National Team, the Rollers. 
 
Spectators are permitted to attend the event with FREE admission. This will be the first public opportunity to get a look at the two-time defending gold medal Team USA Men’s Wheelchair Basketball squad. 
 
The 2024 Coastal Continental Clash will serve as a competitive training opportunity for both Team USA and Team Australia, who’ve each earned a spot to compete at the upcoming Paris 2024 Paralympic Games from August 28-September 8. The participating athletes for the 2024 U.S. Men’s National team will include the athletes that were selected to represent Team USA at the Paralympic Games this summer. Teams will have training sessions each day, concluding with an exhibition contest.
