Team History: Long Beach Flying Wheels

Sports Biography: Member of the Long Beach Flying Wheels & Garden Grove Bears. Played with Flying Wheels on six consecutive “Barnstorming Tours” which promoted Wheelchair Basketball (1951-1956). Competed in NWBT (1953, 1955, 1957). Selected to NWBT All-Tournament Team twice. Competed in Stoke Mandeville Games (1962). Wally is an ordained Chaplain under the auspices of the Hospital Ministries of America.
