COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO – The Adult Division Executive Committee has announced the 2018-19 November’s Rankings for Adult Division I, Adult Division II and Adult Division III.

Division I —Three teams (New York Rollin’ Knicks, Dallas Wheelchair Mavericks, and Sacramento Rollin Kings) continue their preseason rankings in the top 5. The Toronto Rollin Raptors impressively moved up fourteen spots from 19 to 5 since last November’s ranking.

Division II –The Austin Rec’ers move up from 13 to 1 and the Tampa Bay Strong Dogs move up from 16 to 3 since last November. Both the Ft. Lauderdale Sharks and the Maywood Kodiaks (formerly Boyle Heights Kodiaks) moved up one spot within the top ten.

Division III –The Rockford Chariots move up from 5 to 1, leaving the TIRR Memorial Hermann Hotwheels in second at the beginning of the season. Columbus WCB also joins the top three this year, moving up from 9 last year.

 

The Adult Division I, II and III rankings are provided monthly to the NWBA by the Adult Division Executive Committee. The top 16 ranked teams for each Adult Division will earn an invite to the 2019 National Wheelchair Basketball Tournament presented by ABC Medical. The Division I National Tournament will be held March 22-24 in Cleveland, OH; Division II, March 29-31 in Cleveland, OH; Division III, April 5-7 in Chicago, IL. The 48 teams from the three Adult Divisions will battle it out for a coveted national title.
