Notice of 2024 NWBA Annual Assembly and Divisional Annual Meetings
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. - The National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) Governance Committee is pleased to provide NWBA membership formal notice of the 2024 NWBA Annual Assembly. The Annual Assembly will be held on Monday, May 20 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM Mountain Time.

All are welcome and strongly encouraged to participate in the Annual Assembly. Only the respective eligible Team Representative/Voting Delegate of each 2023-2024 NWBA Registered Team is allowed to vote in accordance with NWBA Bylaws.
Your voice matters. Annual Assembly is the perfect opportunity for membership and other NWBA constituencies to gather and provide input on important matters relating to the organization. The 2024 NWBA Annual Assembly will include an opportunity for Membership to pose questions to the Board of Directors and CEO/Executive Director. The meeting will also include:
- Voting on Proposed NWBA Bylaws Amendments
- Elections for Board of Directors Available Positions
- “State of the NWBA” from the Board of Directors
- Managerial report from CEO/Executive Director
The Executive Committees for the Junior Division, Adult Division, Women's Division and Intercollegiate Division are also pleased to announce the details for their Divisional Annual Meetings. During these meetings, divisional leadership will present on matters outlined in their divisional guidelines and conduct any formal business for the division (elections and/or amendment proposals to divisional guidelines). Board of Directors Open Position
The NWBA Board of Directors has one position available for election at the 2024 NWBA Annual Assembly.
- Elected member position, currently held by Dan Ferreira (member elected positions serve a four-year term 2024-2028)
- Self-nominations for Board of Directors open positions must be submitted to the Governance Committee by March 21, 2024 (must be submitted 60 days before Annual Assembly).

- Bylaws Amendment Proposal Form (must be submitted 60 days before Annual Assembly)
- Reminder: Teams must be Registered and the respective Team Representative/Voting Delegate must hold a current season verified complete Individual Membership Registration 60 days before Annual Assembly to be eligible to vote
